The Fuse is Lit

Fuse 22 was born in Lawrence KS in the summer of 2001. Its founders Denny Dillon (Drums) and Dan Butler (Singer) decided to join forces and create a sonic assault changing the way modern music is listened to. Dan and Denny decided to fuse classic rock melodies with modern guitar and drum riffs...the result is something fierce.

The band asked Jon Banta, long time friend of Dan and guitar prodigy, to help fill out the roster. Jon has spent the majority of his life learning to tickle the strings. He has played for Seventh Seal, Poolhouse, and Big Smitty, opening for bands like Foghat and Nazareth. His experience on the stage and studio serve as the melodic backbone for Fuse 22.

After several bass players, Fuse 22 finally found Craig McCullah. In the summer of 2008 while on a band camping trip they found Craig crawling out from a rock in the woods surrounding the Topeka area. Jon promised to feed, water, and walk him every day so they kept him. Since the addtion fans have gone insane over the pumping bass he has added to the sound.
